Application Form

You’ll receive further information, including payment details and next steps, via email during our business hours from 10:00 – 17:00 Thai time. Sometimes our email might end up in the spam folder, so please check there too.

Process
We can complete the CAAT registration for you at any time, and it will be ready immediately. The NBTC registration typically takes 1–3 working days. Here’s how our Thailand Drone Service works:
- Fill out our application form
You start by completing our application form. - We send you an email
You’ll receive an email from us with all the required information, documents, and our bank account details. - Send us the required documents and make an initial payment
Send us all the completed documents and transfer 900฿ (+ the cost of insurance, if desired). - We complete the CAAT registration
After successfully completing the CAAT registration, we’ll send you a screenshot.- (Optional: If you choose to include insurance, we’ll send the insurance documents at this stage.)
- Make the remaining payment
Transfer the remaining 2100฿ to us. - We send the CAAT registration documents
You’ll receive the documents related to your CAAT registration. - Before entry: We send your drone’s registration sticker
Shortly before your trip, we’ll send our self-printed registration sticker with the CAAT registration number of your drone to the address in Thailand you provide (you also receive the number via email). - After entry: You send us the entry stamp
Once you’ve entered Thailand, send us a copy of your entry stamp. - We complete the NBTC registration
We’ll handle the NBTC registration and send you the NBTC certificate along with all the other registration documents within 1–3 working days.

Required Documents for Registration
Please send us the following documents at drohne@thaifreu.de after you’ve submitted your Application Form and received your reply:
- Photo of your passport data page
- Photo of the visa confirmation (if available)
- Photo of the entry stamp (after arrival)
- Address in Thailand, preferably outside of Bangkok, as the processing times there are long (e.g., accommodation booking confirmation, address of friends/relatives, etc.)
- Photo of the drone (showing the entire drone)
- Photo of the QR code and serial number of the drone
- Photo of the QR code and serial number of the drone controller
- Drone insurance confirmation in English, it has to include:
- Start date
- End date
- Policy number
- Mention of coverage „worldwide“ or „Thailand“
- Insurance sum (min. 1 000 000 THB)
- Mention of „drone“ being covered
- Your name
- Sales contract or invoice for buying the drone
Guarantee of Issuance
When you register your drone through us, we guarantee that your drone will be ready for use in time for your holiday. Here are the conditions:
- You send us all required documents at least 3 days before departure.
- All information you provide is truthful.
How Long Does the Registration Process Take?
We process every drone application within 24 hours of receiving payment, provided all documents are complete. The NBTC application is submitted immediately after receiving the entry stamp.
- The CAAT registration is available instantly
- The NBTC processes applications in about 1–3 working days after your arrival (as the entry stamp is required).
